I love to travel. I love exploring unspoiled places and urban landscapes that offer a fresh perspective. It’s good for me. It stokes my creative juices and stretches my mind. I enjoy meeting people from around the world who welcome me and my family with the same pride and passion for their home as we feel for ours. To debate the virtues of each is pointless and so counterproductive. To listen and learn about what makes each special is empowering. I am proud to have friends in many countries and to be able to extoll the virtues of those places based on my first-hand experiences. All of that said, upon returning home, when I see that beautiful red maple leaf, I am continually reminded of just how good we have it!
