Prior to travelling to Holland this past May, and in particular the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens and the tulip festival, I did my homework. I wanted to see what the photo-opportunities might be. I wanted to understand what I’d face upon arrival. I expected the crowds and worried about the chance to shoot unencumbered by the thousands of selfie-taking tourists (Sounds like I may have a bad attitude about that!). I didn’t want to take the same pictures that I’d seen all over the internet. I wanted my own interpretation of these fantastic gardens. This was one attempt.
