Sorry for the absence. I’ve been away a bit but have some new images to share. Recently I was fortunate to experience a country that is home to many of the most dramatic landscapes on earth. From the Highlands to the islands of the Inner Hebrides, each with a unique difference, but all spellbinding. On the Island of Islay is a hike called “The American Monument Walk”. It takes you out to a stone monument commemorating American soldiers lost during WW2, and along the way past majestic cliffs and seascapes. It also leads you tip-toeing through “patty-laden” fields of sheep and Highland cattle. This one never took her eyes off me, those horns were a wee bit intimidating. What a fantastic setting. Despite the drizzle I was truly grateful for the opportunity to experience Islay and all its magic.
