Years ago, I travelled on a small ship from Greenland across the bumpy Davis Straight to Canada. Before the crossing we had a few peaceful days along the Greenlandic coast to visit small communities and experience a coastline maybe unmatched by its diverse geography and beauty. Sometimes as a photographer you get lucky as I did with this picture. I remember turning around in my zodiac to see what was behind us and thinking “stop thinking fool, take the shot”. There was another zodiac from our ship in the middle of an ice-capped mountain range, silhouetted in perfect light. Nature is amazing. What a beautiful planet this is. I was so grateful to have had that moment. #guestbookearth with your grateful moments.
