What a treat. What an absolute privilege to be able to travel with my entire to Amsterdam. That is where my father was from. He passed recently and we decided to go and visit long lost family and learn about his past at the same time. We certainly did some touristy stuff along the way and we ate really, really well. But being with family, outside the hubbub of every day living provides and opportunity to see each other with fresh eyes. This is my son, deep in thought, watching the world go by. Just one of many meaningful moments.
