Throughout Europe there are many old castles. Some better maintained than others. Some barely recognizable as what once must have been a statement to all who would approach about the types of people who live there. I’ve been reading a lot recently about life in the past. What I have always imagined as a romantic existence was often brutal in so many ways. Had people from the days of this old castle in County Kerry, Ireland known about our medicines, transportation, hygiene and so much more, surely they would have traded what they have to live in our world too. Yep, we have a lot, sometimes so much that we take it for granted. That’s what @guestbookearth is all about, our chance to simply express what we are thankful for, large or small.
